Slow downs was written and recorded above a pub and a rehearsal room during the lockdown of 20/21.. A very different time but I’m happy for it to be framed in part by these songs.
It's melodramatic, it has unnecessary fuzzy moments, it's slightly drunk and i probably employed methods that made it more difficult for myself to finish. There is resilience here, it's attached to the time, it's in the words and in the process..
At some point i expected this to just fade out and although this puts me in an uncomfortable position handing it over to you it's very cool that we are here now.
